The project is being created in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and international partners.

It is an interactive exhibition based on children’s personal diaries. 13 stories of war — through children’s eyes. Texts, videos, audio recordings, artworks and artefacts create a space in which visitors do not merely observe — they experience these stories alongside the children.

The project has already been presented at leading cultural and political institutions in Europe and the US — notably the Anne Frank House and Amsterdam City Hall (Amsterdam), the Palace of Europe (Strasbourg), Rotes Rathaus (Berlin), the Ukrainian Institute of America (New York) and the Rayburn House Office Building (Washington), as well as at the Hofburg Palace (Vienna) and Chatham House (London). Foreign visitors left over 1,000 messages of support for Ukrainian children, and 58 guided tours were conducted for students and schoolchildren. At the National Military Museum, the 2025 exhibition was viewed by over 300,000 visitors as part of the museum’s permanent exhibition space.
