of Heroes

Nationwide presence
The Foundation supports children throughout Ukraine, as well as children who have been forced to relocate abroad. Children of Heroes has a legal presence in both the United States and the Netherlands.

Charity Fund

Was established in the first months of the full-scale war to support children who lost one or both parents as a result of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Today, the Foundation supports more than 16,000 children across Ukraine, and new families in need of assistance join the program every day. Its mission is not only to help children cope with their loss, but also to give them the opportunity to build dignified, happy, and successful lives.

As part of its work, the Foundation has enabled 7,590 children and guardians to attend rehabilitation camps, provided 5,341 children with learning devices, delivered legal consultations to 3,493 families, and secured medical insurance coverage for 1,709 children.

A distinctive feature of the Foundation is its Family Assistant Program. Family assistants are dedicated professionals who support each child and their family throughout their time under the Foundation’s care. They assess the family’s needs, help them access necessary support, and coordinate participation in the Foundation’s programs and services.
