Its field of work is animal welfare in the broadest sense: rescuing and helping animals, advocating for their rights and driving systemic change in society. The organization works with all types of animals, including domestic animals, farm animals and wildlife. UAnimals engages citizens, experts, government institutions, and international partners in its projects.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the organisation has evacuated 10,025 animals from combat zones, provided treatment or medication to 57,567 animals, delivered 1,175 tons of animal feed, allocated 41.59 million UAH for the reconstruction and improvement of shelters, rehabilitation centers, and national parks, and sterilized 50,047 stray animals.
